Basic information about blueprints

Blueprints are placed in abandoned bases around the map. They are not random drops—the targets exist at fixed map locations.

Enemies often spawn near ruins. Bring enough ammo and healing before you explore.

Blueprints appear only in blue storage boxes. They are usually inside buildings and are not marked on the in-game map when you get close—you need to search the site.

• The same blueprint can appear at multiple locations. Picking up a duplicate has no extra effect.
• Areas farther from the starting ship tend to have more and tougher enemies.
• Blueprints use a separate inventory slot. You do not lose them on death.
• They do not fill your main bag. Check owned blueprints on the tab on the right side of the inventory screen.

Entering the Forgotten Engine interior requires a Power Cell, crafted at the Basic Item Printer (Chemicals ×10, Electronic Components ×10).

Update 1 recipe changes

From Update 1, these recipes no longer require a blueprint to unlock. The matching blueprint items no longer spawn in the world:

• Scanner
• Pressurized Tank
