VEIN Agility Skill Guide | Effects, Leveling Tips, and Best Perks

Agility Skill Effects

Reduces stamina consumption for various actions through perks and passive bonuses gained from leveling. XP gain is generally low, making it difficult to level the skill intentionally. However, it will increase gradually over time even without conscious effort. If you find any XP boost items during exploration, it’s best to use them right away.

Passive Bonuses from Leveling

Reduces stamina consumption (resulting in slower Exerted buildup).

Confirmed to reduce stamina use during melee attacks, sprinting, jumping, swimming, and object movement.

How to Level Agility

Easy Methods (Early Game)

  • Run (Approx. 100 XP/m)
    • XP gain decreases when movement speed is reduced, so running while lightly equipped is recommended.
    • Movement speed above the base value (e.g., from buffs) does not increase XP gain.
    • Generates more XP than walking, crouch-walking, or exercise.

Recommended Methods (Mid Game and Beyond)

Recommended PERKs for Agility

PERK Direction

There are many perks that enhance mobility and stamina management, such as reducing stamina consumption during sprinting and melee attacks, as well as increasing crouch movement speed.

However, some stamina reduction perks have strictly superior alternatives. Since they are not prerequisites for higher-tier perks, choosing them can result in wasted points, so be careful when selecting lower-tier options.

Recommended PERKs

  • Bank It
    • There are no must-have perks in the early game, so this perk is recommended as it increases the number of perk points gained upon reaching skill level 100.
  • All-Star Batter
    • Stamina consumption during melee attacks is relatively high, making this perk highly valuable.
  • Pro Marathoner
    • Eliminates stamina consumption while sprinting. However, by the time you reach skill level 100, stamina usage is already significantly reduced, so this perk is optional.

Notes / Testing

  • Olympic Gymnast (Perk)
    • Although not explicitly stated, this perk reduces stamina consumption during jumping to zero and also negates the reduction in jump height when stamina is low.
    • However, it does not prevent the “cannot jump” condition that occurs when fatigue exceeds 80%.
  • Time to Reach Skill Level 100
    • The total XP required is approximately 350,000.
    • Running provides about 600 XP per minute, resulting in an estimated 583 minutes (350,000 ÷ 600).
    • While XP boost items can shorten this time, actual efficiency decreases due to stamina depletion.
