Gold Guide: Auction House & Soulcatch Tree

Basic Gyldenblod Loop

Simple flow: explore → extract items → sell.

Using the Auction House

Every item shows two prices.

ItemDetail
ValueShop (Cazarro) sell price
Average Transaction PriceTypical Auction House (Pip) player-sale price

The Shop sells instantly but tends to pay less. The Auction House pays more, but listings can sit. Selling there also charges a fee (below).

What to sell where

Prefer the Auction House for:

  • Rare or better gear
  • Legendary items
  • High-priced Soulcatch Nets and Ale Ingredients

For most other items, the price difference is small, so selling them at the Shop is fine.

If unsure, compare the Estimated Profit above the list button with a Shop sale.

Auction fees

Auction sales incur a fee of roughly 10%. Small margins can turn into a loss after fees, so items with little price difference are often better sold at the Shop.

Priority Extract Loot

Prioritize items that sell well on the Auction House:

  • High-rarity items
  • Soulcatch Nets
  • Ale Ingredients
  • Gear Materials

Items whose descriptions say Used for Camp Construction usually sell for about the same amount at the Shop and Auction House, so you can sell them to the Shop in bulk.

Soulcatch Nets often trade for more than double Shop value. Put them in the Pip's Pouch so you can extract them reliably.

Soulcatch Tree

A facility that produces Gyldenblod Gel over time when you slot Soulcatch Nets. Slow but idle — set nets as soon as you have them.

Soulcatch Net types

NameRarityProduction power
Full Moon Soulcatch Net Holy Unconfirmed
Half Moon Soulcatch Net Legendary 3
Crescent Soulcatch Net Epic 1

Half Moon and Crescent nets can also be bought on the Auction House, but they are scarce and expensive.

Production speed

Each net has a fixed production power. With multiple nets, add their production power first, then divide 192 by the total.

Time to 1 Gel = 192 hours ÷ total production power

Examples:

  • 1 Crescent → 192 ÷ 1 = 192 hours (8 days)
  • 1 Half Moon → 192 ÷ 3 = 64 hours (~2.7 days)
  • 1 Half Moon + 1 Crescent → 192 ÷ 4 = 48 hours (2 days)

When that time elapses, you get 1 Gyldenblod Gel.

Claiming Gyldenblod Gel

When claimed, the Gel is converted directly into 400 Gyldenblod, with a chance to receive bonus items.

Buying nets on the Auction House

On paper, 1 Crescent yields about 400 Gyldenblod in 8 days. At an Auction House price of 1600, break-even is about 32 days. Fine if you play long-term.

Earning Gyldenblod from Camp Upgrades

Not a big earner, but facilities help a little.

  • Workshop — Forging sometimes produces 2 items or an item of a higher rarity than requested, making those crafts profitable. Normal crafts roughly cover their material cost
  • Auction House — more listing slots
