- Dismantle Wooden Logs and Planks
- Materials can be gathered quickly with minimal effort
- Recommended when you have few items available to dismantle
- Gathering wood also grants Strength XP
- The scrap wood obtained from dismantling can be used as fuel for furnaces and campfires
- Craft and Dismantle Makeshift Bandages
- Crafting Makeshift Bandages also grants Crafting and Medical XP
- Makeshift Bandages stack up to 25, allowing you to dismantle them in bulk
- Cloth Scraps are best obtained by dismantling clothing looted from zombies
- Craft and Dismantle Metal Brackets
- Crafting Metal Brackets also grants Crafting, Mechanical, and Electrical XP

- Dismantle Cash
- Cash stacks up to 500, allowing you to gain XP from dismantling all 500 bills at once
- With XP-boosting items, a single dismantling session can yield over 10,000 XP
- Collecting large amounts of cash can be somewhat time-consuming, so it is worth saving bills as you play
- Once you have accumulated a large stack, use an XP-boosting item before dismantling for maximum efficiency

- Dismantling large quantities at once allows you to gain XP quickly
- Saving them up during normal gameplay is an efficient approach
