Easy Methods (Early Game)
- Craft Metal Brackets
- Grants 100 XP per craft
- Requires only 1 Scrap Iron
- Construction and Mechanical XP are also gained at the same time
- Since Metal Brackets are used in many recipes, crafting extra is never a waste
- Craft Wooden Spear
- Grants 250 XP per craft
- Materials are easy to obtain
- Also grants Repair XP
- Craft Makeshift Bandage
- Grants 100 XP per craft
- Requires very few materials
- Also grants Medical XP
- Can be crafted without a workbench, allowing it to be made alongside almost any other activity
Recommended Methods (Mid Game and Beyond)
- Build Pull-up Bar
- Grants 2,793 XP per build
- Provides a large amount of XP for the materials required
- Place and dismantle repeatedly to level efficiently with minimal resources
Recommended PERKs for Crafting
PERK Direction
Many perks provide useful effects, such as reducing material consumption when crafting.
Since the skill levels up naturally through normal gameplay, perks that increase XP gain are generally a low priority.

| Cost Cutter | 50 | Can use cutting tool with the tier below the recipe’s stated requirement. ( If the recipe normally requires heavy cutting, basic cutting can be used instead, etc.) |
| Innovator | 50 | All schematics, regardless of what skill it’s for, have their stat level requirement reduced by 5. |
| Quantum Crafter | 50 | You have a 15% chance of receiving double the amount of items when crafting. |
