Solarpunk Interactive Map

Solarpunk

Backpack and Backpack Upgrades

At the start of the game, your inventory consists of 21 slots (3×7).

Several backpack-related items can be found throughout the world. These include the Backpack, which increases your inventory capacity, as well as Backpack Upgrade items that further expand it.

Backpack Upgrade items have no effect if obtained before acquiring the Backpack, so make sure to obtain the Backpack first.

The required Airship Levels for each item are as follows:

  • Backpack → Airship Level 3
  • Backpack Upgrade 1 → Airship Level 4
  • Backpack Upgrade 2 → Airship Level 5

Please refer to the map on this page for their locations.

How to Obtain Mineable Resources | Airship Levels and Available Resources

Unlocking new crafting recipes requires a variety of resources.

The table below lists each mineable resource and the Airship Level required to obtain it.

The Deposit Available column indicates the Airship Level required to reach areas containing resource deposits that can be used for automated extraction. Some resources, such as Sand and Clay, can be gathered manually on the starting island, but reaching their deposit locations for automation requires a higher Airship Level.

How to Get Silicon

Silicon is obtained by smelting Quartz in a Furnace.

Unlike most other minerals, the resource changes its name after refining, which can make it confusing for new players.

To obtain Quartz, you must first upgrade your Airship to Level 2.

How to Obtain Plants | Airship Levels and Available Plants

Various harvestable plants can be found throughout the world, including Berries and Cotton.

Most plants provide one seed when harvested, allowing them to be replanted and cultivated at your base.

Since seeds cannot be multiplied during the early game, it is recommended to collect every harvestable plant you encounter.

The table below shows the Airship Level required to obtain each plant.

Algae is the only exception. It does not produce seeds and cannot be cultivated. Instead, it must be collected using a dedicated harvesting device.

  1. Michelle says:

Not sure if it was just missed, or left off for a reason. But the last 2 treasure chests I needed were on the “half in the last circle” snow island, on the far left. Just wanted to share in case someone else asks or needs the last 2.

    • Thanks! I think I must have overlooked those while creating the map. I’ll check the location and add them if they’re missing. I appreciate you letting me know!

    • After looking into it a bit more, it seems that treasure chest locations may not actually be fixed. Because of that, I’ve decided to remove treasure chest markers from the map for now to avoid providing inaccurate information.

I really appreciate you taking the time to let me know!
